WAY is a Windows Mobile 6 application that tracks your pocket pc location using its GPS, it then replies to your SMS with its position coordinates. This is very useful for the safety of needy and dependent people, or can indeed be used to quickly trace your lost or stolen device.

Once WAY is installed on a device, the software notifies you of its location upon receipt of a predefined SMS. On receiving the message, WAY gets the geographical coordinates from the device's GPS and sends a text message back to you with details of the latitude, longitude and UTC time. From the coordinates one can easily trace an actual address through reverse geocoding. There are web sites such as TravelGIS.com that provide this service free of charge for 26 countries.
